The King’s School Cadet Corps – Passing Out Parade

Before we all got locked down again, we were honoured to deliver Audio Visual for The King’s School Cadet Corps’ Passing Out Parade yet again.

Blessed with clear blue skies and a lovely day, the Cadets marched out – some for their final time with the Corps. 45 Productions were asked to provide a solution that facilitated the visit from Chief of Army Lieutenant General Rick Burr, AO, DSC, MVO who addressed the Corps from a microphone on the field.

Working closely with the Cadet Corps, we overcome the concern of audio travel delay in such a large space and was able to provide complete audio coverage both on and off the field. This was crucial to get right, as there was no ‘dress rehearsal’ of the address or formal proceedings.

We also provided a small comms and cueing solution to communicate with people around the field – as well as our crew and a commentator for the event, who was placed on the opposite side of the oval – with the best seat in the house, up high in the scoreboard.
