Over the past few days we have seen some major disruptions to the event industry with many events being cancelled due to the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
There is no doubt that it will prove to be a tough time for all including clients, event organisers and staff, families and friends. Whilst this is disappointing, I think we can all understand why this advice and these restrictions have been issued – but there are alternatives.
What are the alternatives?
45 Productions have been working with clients to develop solutions to overcome the difficult situations we are all facing. Some of the options we are offering include:
– Video Conferencing
– Online Webinars
– Live Streaming
– Filming and releasing video packages.
This means events can still proceed using high quality video, audio and interactive programs over the internet. People are offered an opportunity to be involved in the event, without face to face interaction.
We have recently put together a series of packages that outline potential options for holding events without an audience.
Get in touch with us to discuss how we can help you with ideas and solutions so you can still hold a successful event. Call on (02) 8378 5888 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
What are we doing to ensure high level hygiene at our events?
Whilst we have always had vigorous health and hygiene practices, we are now taking extra precautions – especially when it comes to microphones. Every microphone is thoroughly disinfected and cleaned before and after every event. We also carry extra stock of wind socks and microphone grills to swap out during a show if a microphone needs to be shared. And of course, every surface is cleaned thoroughly as well.
We have also increased the deployment of hand sanitiser for our crew and emphasising the need to be well rested, and feel comfortable to take time off and stay isolated if not feeling well.
Our hope is to continue to deliver the same extraordinary events that we have been delivering.
In the meantime, we will closely monitor developments from expert health organisations so please take care and if you are showing signs of symptoms or have been exposed to anyone with the virus, please act responsibly.
